I presented the first image in a post earlier this month; in the meantime I came across an earlier version of the composition which inspired me to edit the post. This second image was made approximately a year earlier. It contains many of the visual elements I find intriguing to investigate in my art practice: recurring themes, time, space, repetition, doubles, symmetry, focus, and coming across these elements in unlikely places, in this case, a view from “the other side” through frosted glass at the foot of an escalator.
Really like! Didn’t see what the objects were for a long time. This is one thing I always love about what you do.
